What would be the average age to get eyebrows waxed or plucked? I have asked several questions like this before, but I am really confused because the answers are different everytime. People say 12 years old or something like that is too young and some people say get them waxed right now. Help please?

I'd say 12 beacause that is kind of when the rituals of becoming a woman begin, also get them professionally waxed while the natural arch is intact, plucking can do some damage. I recently took my 14 year old sister and 12 year old sister in-law to get theirs done and they came out great, nothing fancy, just pretty and natural. For someone that young, its good just to get rid of the strays and clean them up without looking too mature. A clean, neat look is always good.

probably around the age of thirteen. It would most likely depend on how hairy your eyebrows are. I would pluck them. Then later on in life, mabe in Highschool 10 grade you could get them waxed. If they really need to be waxed, get it done... dont be a freakish monster. Also it depends on your parents opinion on the subject.

13 or 14 was when I started taking my girls to have theirs waxed but that will probably depend on your mom's/guardian's opinion. I think that you should wait till you're at least 13 to pluck them. But if you know someone/place that waxes inexpensively, I highly recommend having them waxed, it's quicker & not as painful. Best wishes for you whichever way you go

Well my honest opinion is, it depends on how bad it is. I mean if your 9 and look like a tarantula lives above your eyes, then wax those puppies! But if your 19 with nice light blonde in place eyebrows, then don't bother!

OK i am 43 and i just started getting mine done...My mother forced me to LOL...I have had them done 4 times and it hurts like heck....I wouldn't start unless you need to, i didn't know i had eyebrows till i got my done, I'm not a hairy person and very blonde....But when ever you feel ready and if you have very hairy brows/unibrow or whomever your writing this about, then get them done now...It will make you feel better....

13 is probably the youngest 2 go with..if ur younger than that, have ur mom pluck them....i DOESNT HURT AT ALL!!!
