1. on the cheap side, i'd choose loreal's true match foundation...does not look cakey at all.
on the more high end side, i'd use bareminerals (what i use), it covers acne scars well (but dont expect it to cover crazy acne, i dont recommend any makeup for people with crazy acne, they should start by fixing their skin first). However, the bareminerals basic kit costs about $60, but you can just buy the powder and brush seperately (dont forget the concealer brush too, that helps tons).

2. actually, white eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes REALLY make them look bigger. brightening brown eyes, i would say purple/plum eyeshadows (or just plain purple mascara with neutral tones) makes brown eyes look a bit more vibrant. dont use black eyeliner and rim your eyes like crazy (it just makes your eyes appear smaller), instead, use brown eyeliner and make sure you dont use too much on the bottom lids (you can use as much as you like on the outer corner but dont go crazy with the inner corners, it wont look natural).

i use bare minerals and i absolutely love it. it work last all day even if you have oily skin. the down side is that is kind of pricey. you would need to get the foundation and something called mineral vail which helps it blend perfectly and stay on all day plus you need the special brushes to apply it. the two together are about $40 but you can get a starter kit with a bunch of stuff for like $60 (brushes included) from saphora . the stuff works really really well and its actually good for your skin.

My two favorite foundations are Clarin's true radiance and bare minerals! they are the best ones out there! I love blotting papers for the oil because a little shine is beautiful and gives you radiance.as for your eyes try different shades of green. It will make your eyes pop. I know it sounds like a scary color but try it and you'll love it!

for foundation use covergirl dream matte mousse foundation.
for eye makeup:
eyeshadow: milani eyeshadow quads in wild violets & touch of brown.
eyeliner: milani eyeliner pencil in blue blaze.
mascara: idk milani has a good selection. just see what u need, but always use pitch black mascara for brown eyes.
i use these for my daily makeup routine and my face looks flawless all day and my eyes really pop! hope this helps!!
