By all means, especially if they are Catholic. There's nothing which says you can't observe a church holy day no matter what nationality, or ethnic group you are

Im descended from mostly Irish immigrants, married a puerto rican. most of us love new blood. Just be careful what kind of girl you get drunk with on st patricks day you or may become one of us for life
