Running less will thin your legs without the gain of muscle, biking in low gears. Try for three to four times a week, anything cardio without added tension.
Try this for all cardio exercise:
3 minute warm up- go slow steady, 2 minute moderate, 1 minute push hard go fast, 2 minute moderate, 1 minute slow, start again from 2 minute moderate and continue this cycle for the duration of your exercise.
you want to get your heart rate up enough where your burning the fat, but not stress your muscles enough to where your triggering muscle growth.

well first off here's a tip do not count calories. All you need to do is buy one of those log sheets and run and exercise about 30 minutes a day three to four times a week. it's important to not just run for your legs but if you exercise all in all your whole body will look great too. in your log sheet just write any extra exercise time you did and maybe weigh yourself two times a week. From my point of view weighing yourself everyday causes yourself to work your body soo much because you want to loose weight. When you way yourself once or twice a week you'll see if your weight is improving or not.

you know, diet and excersise. no gimmicks. I ate healthy( whole vegs and fruits, lean meat , etc) and walked/jogged for one hour every night for the past three months and I lost my beer gut that I put on last summer ( 30lbs!)
