I don't know, but if was really that easy, and we wanted to use our heads about it, we would all choose whatever skin color was the most resistant to sun damage - if there is such a thing.

Alright, so they've known about these genes for years now and nobody has changed their skin colour yet.; what a pointless, out of date, irrelevant question.

The same skin color as their parents..... I think most people wont want to change......

grey or taupe. it would be neat if the skin could go iridescent.
