copyright photos on youtube..?

i'd like to make some movies with photos off the internet and place them on sites such as youtube. i heard you can get in trouble for doing so. is this true? thanks

If the photo you are trying to get belongs to someone else, then yes, it is illegal. However, the probability of them finding you is slim to none. If they do stumble upon you, they would most likely just request the video taken off YouTube and leave you with a warning.
