I think the baby may have dropped, but he still looks nice and high and my belly is as big as ever! :) Is lightening or the baby dropping always something you can actually 'see'?

No,u dont notice it all the time...Usually u will notice the pressure or cramps low down which is almost a given sign but just by looking at the tummy does not really indicate anything..My sister in law just had her baby and after her baby dropped she still looked extremely high,u wouldnt even think the baby was gonna come so soon...Good Luck and congrats!!!!

It isn't always visible. There is a lot of fluid and allof those organs are still squashed up under your ribs. If you can actually breathe now, then its lightening and the end is near. I'm at 25 weeks with number three and would really like to take a deep breath.

Usually, you can tell that the baby is a little lower, even if your belly doesn't seem much lower. With my last pregnancy, everyone else noticed my baby had dropped before I did. They were right!

When my baby droped you could definatly notice it... and i could breath so much better, but i couldnt eat anything cos he was pushing on my stomach even more so nothibng would fit ! lol Mabe your baby could have dropped slightly... I have a friend who actually felt her baby drop ! lol but as for me i just woke up one day and looked in the mirror and was like woah he really dropped ! lol Good luck and congrats :)

No... i went to the doctors and they checked me and told me the baby hasn't dropped yet, the next week he dropped... i had no idea, my stomach still looked high and i didn't feel him drop...

Not all babies drop. Mine never did and the doctor said that some womens don't, especially if it is a first child. Strong ligaments and muscles.

you CAN tell the baby has dropped!My sister got so scared when her baby dropped because she thought it was dead in her belly! good luck

You bellybutton should be ontop of the bulge if baby has dropped.
