What makes you think they are so radical?
It is actually the mainstream in the Moslem world that fanatically hates America and Israel.
Fundamentalist Islam requires a jihad against non-Moslems and the eventual conquering of the entire non-Moslem world.
America has dealt with Fundamentalist Islam since the days of Thomas Jefferson and the Barbary Pirates.

The hatred of ALL infidels not just the US. The US is hated more by them because we are the ones doing most of the fighting. All "good" Muslims are taught from an early age that Western society is sinful.

American support for Israel, support for oppressive regimes like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan and Iraq (you do know Saddam was our ally against Iran), covert operations in Muslim couturiers, killing of thousands of Iraqis, Iraq sanctions that killed millions before the current Iraqi war.
Or you can use the American argument that they simply hate our "freedoms" (whatever the hell that means). This way, the only solution is military since you can't negotiate with those that hate an abstract concept.

yes, and can you imagine a year or so ago I did not even know what a infidel was, I thought it was a guy who plays the violin badly.
