Pelosi doesn't have a clue about what she is doing. Actually from a conservative point of view, I am glad they picked her, she will do more harm to her party, than good.

Actually they didn't pick one of the dumbest. Apparently you consider yourself a genius for believing what you do and anyone who does not conform to the letter is a dummy. You and your kind make me sick. As a matter of fact Ms. Pelosi worked hard and earned what she has. Bucking the "Old Boy network" isn't easy and she seems to have done it. No dummy would have been able to do that. No body was there to by things for her she did it on her own.
She has been doing just exactly what she is supposed to do fight for the Democrat's cause and keep track of which Republicans buck the people's will and support Bush then bring it back to haunt them in November of next year.
It is shaping up to be a landslide for the Democrats not unlike the one in 1964 when Lyndon Johnson defeated Barry Goldwater and ushered more Democrats into Congressional seats.

Pelosi is smarter than you'll ever even consider being, pal. Prior to any criminal case, it's the prosecutors job to secure the necessary evidence for trial. Your looking at Six years of misdeeds that have to be investigated--it's not gonna happen overnight. You think she'd clue you or the rest of the conservative in on what the plan is--I think not.
Just where do you think these hearings are going anyway?
Does not the pattern of malfeasance and corruption being discovered shed any light on the blatant incompetance and illegal activities of this Administration to you?
Denny Hastert--the last (R) speaker covered up the Foley scandal, not to mention his land deal--remember--where he manipulated a Federal Highway project to his property for the buyout? GET A CLUE!!

There is no telling exactly what made them choose her. Surely they are aware of whatever characteristics she has, good or bad, but like so many other decisions made in Washington, this one seems to have been made for political reasons of some sort, rather than actual common sense. That's all I can really say about that. I share your surprise, or "disagreement" on that, though.
