Nothing can replace the REAL guitar.

so Nope its not exactly like playing a real guitar. To play a real guitar you need much more skill than pusshing a bunch of button. u need to learn how to bar and stuff. =)

GET A REALY GUITAR WAY FUNNER THAN GUITAR HERO!

No, even if you're really good at Guitar Hero and can play on expert mode it doesn't guarantee that you can play it on a real guitar. I play the guitar and I like guitar hero a lot. I can play songs in expert mode but it is A LOT HARDER playing the same song using a guitar. I tried it with the song "Monkey Wrench" the other day. Guitar Hero only requires you to push 5 buttons. Playing a guitar takes a lot of practice, you need to learn a lot of stuff.

I don' t think it is anything like the real thing. I've played guitar for years and I fail every song I try on expert and at the end of hard. Most people I know that play real guitar aren't that good at guitar hero, we just get frustrated and go play it on real guitar!!

My friend is an amazing guitar player but sux at playing guitar hero , 2 buttons max, its a different learning curve, it's 2 completely different things, if your amazing at guitar hero then you won't even know where to start when playing a real guitar.

there's a reason i don't know any guitar players that even want to play guitar hero, i know i sure as hell don't, you have five buttons, on a guitar you have 6 strings and 20+frets

Funny thing about this, I was watching Headbanger's Ball a little while ago and one of the guys from Shadows Fall was playing it and actually failed on the song. Sad part was it was a SF song.. go figure.
