Hip-hop dancing looks fun and seems like a real good way to break a sweat. However, I have a problem, I suck.
I don't want to embarrass myself, but I'm jealous of all those people who can start going wild in the middle of a party and get a circle around them in seconds.
I'm thinking about just doing some hip-hop classes for fun after I graduate from high-school since during school would be way too hectic, and my summers are filled with trips and such.
However, I don't want to embarrass the heck out of myself in a class. I have no previous training and I don't want everyone to look at me like "What! How you can't dance? You a black girl."
The problem isn't so much beat, I already play an instrument. However, I can't remember things well. I would NOT be able to remember a string of moves on the first or even second try unless it's broken down REAL short. I don't want to be further embarrassed by slowing the class down.
But honestly, I have problems remembering things.

There really isn't a problem. I used to forget moves all the time, but you'll learn something cool after a while.
The more you dance, the easier your body will automatically remember the moves. It becomes automatic after a while. Not kidding here. You need to practice your *** off for a while. After a few months, you will only need to do something five or six times to get it. Then, you will get used to doing the same types of things when you freestyle. This is your REAL style. That's what people do in parties. FREESTYLE. Free means no thinking and style means the way they naturally move.
You need to do this awhile, even if you're lost at first to MAKE your style.
Keep dancing,
Franklin

Look, you obviously want to try it. From the question i didnt think you were really into it.
And everyone has to make a fool out of themselves before ethey get remotely good at something. You could always buy dance videos and learnt them first???
It shiuldnt matter, and noone will care, as everyone was new at some point. They wont put you in a class they think is out of your range anyway...

ok, the 1st 0.5 of this essay is beside the point. yet in a nutshell, you're basically asserting Puffy killed Hip Hop, suitable? Puffy manipulated Biggie's song, Jay stole Biggie's type, and whilst huge died, it unfold out an threat for Jay make his pass. And devoid of different opinion, emcees have been forced to alter up their varieties using fact's what grow to be desirable to the mainstream. a number of your question did no longer positioned up so i do no longer understand what else you have got stated, yet you nevertheless did no longer clarify why Hip Hop is lifeless. The flaw in you precis is which you assert "singles" have been what grow to be conventional on the time, that's real to three quantity, however the adaptation is, the mainstream song back then grow to be nevertheless lyrical, and many times nevertheless had a message. Hell, even Jay-Z's song as much as the black album is seen "genuine" Hip Hop. to no longer point out whilst Biggie died, Puffy fell off the face of the earth, which shows there grow to be some thing approximately huge in specific that grow to be desirable to the followers. If it grow to be fairly that easy, Mase, or somebody else on undesirable Boy archives could have been the subsequent huge sensation. With that stated, clarify to me how songs(or warm singles that appealed to the mainstream) like huge Poppa, lifeless Presidents II, If I governed the international, Nas Is Like and so on. more advantageous into Lil Jon & The Eastside Boys, The Ying Yang Twins, and so on. additionally, Eminem grow to be conventional as sh*t interior the mid 2000's using fact followers enjoyed "how genuine and deep" his songs have been. His type grow to be no longer even remotely on the edge of the stuff it somewhat is being positioned on the radio right this moment. for my section, the is not any clarification as to why Rap is the way that it fairly is now. someplace alongside the Hip Hop timeline there's a grey section the place it unexpectedly grew to grow to be alright to make ignorant club songs containing 3 to 4 words according to bar. i could additionally opt to function that Hip Hop isn't lifeless. Like I stated in yet another question, I hate the term/word "lifeless" or "is "death" using fact there continues to be a number of of stable Rap song obtainable if that's what you're fairly after.
