I'm looking for decent power, good average, and runs. I know the season hasn't even started, but I can fill an extra roster position (bench). Who would you pick, choosing from Chris Duncan, Chad Tracy, Conor Jackson, Jeremy Hermida, Carlos Quentin, and Luke Scott?

Forgot to add Gary Matthews, Kevin Youkilis, and Corey Hart.

Anyone know if Scott is going to be starting this year?

A Good question.

Carlos Quentin is a intriguing prospect as is Corey Hart of Milwaukee but I would go with Quentin he is one of the 4 baby
vipers of the diamondbacks along with stephen drew, conor jackson and chris young and young is also someone you may want too look at....hope I haven't confused you!!!

Good luck!

Of the choices you listed, I think Gary Matthews Jr. will provide the most overall production. He shouldn't miss any time due to the HGH thing, because he has denied it, and MLB has no way of proving he did, as a current test for HGH doesn't exist. But if this is too big a concern to overlook, I would go with Tracy, who should provide decent power numbers and solid run production, while the rest of the group may not even become everyday starters this year.

Looking at those three categories I probably go with Duncan. It's between Duncan, Tracy, Quentin, and Scott.

Jackson. I was looking at his #s last year and they were fairly good. He hit for a pretty good average and had 15 homers in like 400 at bats. So he could hit 20+ homers with more playing time this year.

pretty good choices out there. duncan has proven he has power. tracy has power. jackson has upside but is unproven. hermida is supposedly suppose to break out this year. i dont think you can really go wrong with anybody. but id go with duncan or tracy just because they are proven ,
