She would have wanted it that way.

You do realize that human ashes leak an oily substance, right? So you better make sure the box is lined with wax paper and a biscuit to absorb any humidity.

Sure. Everything but the kitchen sink is in a KFC big box. Why not your wife's ashes. Don't get them mixed in with the gravy though.

Well as long as you do it before next Wednesday. See cuz if you get them on Wednesay then it'll be White Trash Wednesday and everyone'll be snarfin' on KFC an you could like forget which box is your wife an which box y'all are supposed to eat.

Then you'd be eatin' yer wife's box and everyone'd be all, "This here chick'n tastes kinda dry. Did the Colonel change his secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices to just one spice - charcoal? I think I need to drizzle this in some sausage gravy."

And that'd be real bad cuz then everyone'd show up to the sprinkling of ashes at the local Kmart (as per your lovely wife's will) and they'd be like, "Derwood, man, where's your wife?" An you'd be like, "I ate her."

Did you remember to take the french fries out first? I hope they didn't pour the gravy on top of the ashes.

Well, I often retrieve my husband's mother from the airport in our neighbor's cow trailer.

But, who am I to judge?

Yes, scrooge, we wear the chains that we forge in life.

Shoot, that's how I would want it too. As long as the box isn't greasy. If he doesn't think it's ethical or whatever, slap him
