You don't do anything, Sweetie. They are not your feelings, they're theirs. I know you care about them because they're your friends, but there's really nothing you can do. You can't make the guy taller & you can't make the girl like him if she doesn't.

Wow My opinion is that she is a very bad friend . You deserve a way better bff :(, I hate how guys would just like a girl because she is Hot. It mostly depends on personality right? He is NOT in love more of infatuation. I do think you should break the promise but next time don't promise unless you know what they want. I suck at english ><

well him being short thats just a dumb excuse to not go out with a guy. I had a tall gf I didn't like it too much but she didn't care that I was kinda short. perhaps she should look more into his personality then at how tall he is. get her to know him more maybe she will begin to like him not cause of his tall ness but maybe how nice he is instead.

What can you do? All you can do is point out his good qualities and encourage him to be confident but not to pin all his hopes on this one girl. Some girls like shorter guys.

You need to tell her its not about how tall or what they look like. IT should matter on how the person will tret you and what his personality is. If she don't care then you need to tell the guy that likes her that he needs to find someone who will care for him for who he is.
