Most useless Star Wars character ...Why?

Trick question...there were NO useless characters in Star Wars. If they were useless, Lucas wouldn't have put 'em in the movie.

Chewbacca saved everyone countless times. He never asked for anything either. Great wookie. Luke saved the universe.

I think that the most useless Star Wars character is C-3P0. All he does is annoy everone. As Han Solo would say, "Shut him up or shut him down!" He can translate languages but it seems like everone in star wars understands each other anyways. Han Solo understands wookie and jabba the hut talk fine.

So Jar Jar is not everyone's favorite. He's certainly not my favorite either. But I have to stand up for him this time. lol Jar Jar was an ambassador in that he was the bridge between the Jedi, his own people (in the water) and the ones who lived on top (the land). Without Jar Jar, the 'water' folk would not have gotten together with the 'land' folk to fight together. Sorry I know these movies by heart but am so tired I can't even think of what race Jar Jar is right now...lol

Qui gon jinn.he has no purpose.he wasn't a very good Jedi,he got killed off right away,couldn't even defeat Darth maul yet his padawan could,discovered the chosen one but didn't train him,they refer to him in books,clone wars TV show, but what for? what did he really do? Yeah jar jar is annoying but Qui gon jinn was useless.

Jar Jar Binks, seriously even the action figures didn't sell for that one. He's completely pointless and is one of the most irritating figures in a film, this side of that troll in the second "Harry Potter" movie.

Notice when ever you go to a PG-13 movie, there's always a goofy charcter to make kids laugh- it's that movies' Jar Jar Binks. ANnoys the bejeebers out of me.

for me, C-3PO and Jar jar binks, why u ask, well, C-3PO because he whines and bitches all the time, and Jar jar because he's really annoying, he shouldn't even be in the movies, i wanna KILL BOTH OF THEM
