Basiclly doing the exact same thing they did during the Vietnam War. The problem is for every 100 people who support the fight for freedom and are silent there is one loud mouth against it who media gives full coverage .
In Atlanta today the three dozen people had a anit-war rally. They all got a personal interview. Had a five minute segment on local TV news. I went to a freedom for Iraq rally (support out troops rally but we renamed it) with over 300 people. We called the tv stations about it and no one showed.
The Iraq people have this one chance at freedom and why would they not be willing to fight and die for it.

The war is only 4 years old. What were you doing over there before that. I am surprised Saddam would let you get away with anything. Again we have someone who generalizes showing lack of knowledge. We were not worried about Iraq because THEY WERE NO THREAT TO US at that time. With Saddam and Iran as neighbors there seems to have been a balance in the region. Those clans, and groups over there have been fighting one another for over a thousand years. They eventually seem to settle things without the inferference of outsiders. They see us as infidels on their sacred land and they don't want us there. For the safety of those who have already lost their lives, those wounded and those about to die over there we should not have butted into their business in the first place. Now we have a big fat hairy mess we are in and still no exit plan from Bush. The Democrats have an exit plan. It may not be what you have in mind but it is better than no plan at all.

What have you been doing for eight years, how have you been fighting for freedom in Iraq? If the so-called liberals are so weak and ineffective, why have you and your kind not gotten the freedom you say you have been fighting for? M-O-N-E-Y-! is the goal you have been "fighting" for. As long as the Iraqis do not have peace and freedom, the American dollars will continue to pour in the pockets of the corrupted officials both in Iraq and the U.S.

didn't we go into Iraq in like 02 or 03.. and it's 07 now? that's like 5 years?
are you from the future? or have you been running covert ops?
either way... to answer your question... we've been stopping Bush from turning the U.S. into a dictatorship, so the U.S. will be the same one you left...

Spitting in the faces of your fellow soldiers who were sent home and protesting at the funerals of your fallen buddies.
On a side note, if you've been there 8 years you got a raw deal.
