We all wish. My first car was a 69 Buick Skylark GS 400. It was a beater, but a fun car. My second car was a 71 Mustang Mach I. Another fun car. But living in Wisconsin, they were both rust buckets. I bought a 68 Mercury Cougar 2 years ago. Hoping to fix it up. It's got some rust, but is fixable. I'm beginning to think its a pipe dream. I haven't done much to it except make it safe to drive. It needed brake work and I had to stop the trans from leaking. Got that much done, in 2 years. Time.......who has it? Interested in a 68 Cougar?

Well, I haven't been around long enough to have any cars that would be worth a whole lot. The first car I bought with my own money was an orange '79 Pinto. Of course I may be wrong since I see them on eBay from time to time selling upwards of $3000. That would be a big increase from the $100 I paid for it back in 1990.

Had a 1989 Mazda B2600i 4X4 pickup with 219,000 miles on it, traded it for a 2006 Chevy Cobalt with 11 miles on it, and wish now that I would have kept my truck, as my cobalt seems to be in the shop needing repairs more often than I drive it. Pretty sad to buy a new car and have to have more repairs done to it, than I had to do to my old truck with a few hundred thousand miles more on it.
