Queen Pelosi is actually a good choice for the Democrats to be Speaker of the House. She can't do any harm because she can't do anything, she can barely carry on a conversation.

The Democrats shot themselves in the foot when they gave her that position. She will manage to get nothing done, but she will blame everyone else.

Wow Strattz, what have they done so far, except pass the minimum wage, which actually does more harm than good, but that is another topic.

OH, my bad, they passed a bunch of non binding resolutions. A waste of tax payer money.

I think I am making my point. Democrats don't want to do anything, because they can't. They blame Bush, but as someone else said...Guess who signs the bill or vetoes it.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm.

The Democrats will swing into gear and start really trying to accomplish something a few months before their re-election.

Let's see. The hundred hours (not 150 days, as you put it) wanted the following things to be done

Raising the minimum wage
Enacting the recommendations of the 9/11 bipartisan commission to inspect more cargo ships.
conservation fee and rescinding many giveaways from the previous energy bill.
Lowering the interest rate on student loans
Restrictions on lobbying
Stem Cell Research bill
Direct negotiation with pharmaceutical companies to get better prices for medicare drugs.

Of these plans, all were passed in under the first 100 hours. The problem is that the Senate is not bound by Pelosi's plans or the House bills, and furthermore, bills that pass still need to be signed by the president, who has indicated that he would veto stem cell research and the pharma bills.

So your question is somewhat unfair in that regard, because the Senate Dems promised no such things, but based on how you wrote it, you obviously don't care.

Nancy Pelosi smiles pretty for the cameras and that's about it. I don't even know what to say, I have heard nothing except a constant stream of "non-binding" resolutions. I am seriously trying to think of something they have done, maybe make the Sunday Morning Talk Shows on a regular basis. Thanks

Yeah, they promised a lot of things. You're wrong about Pelosi, though. She won't blame everyone else; she'll blame Bush. It's every Democrats duty to blame Bush for the ills of the world whatever they are.

You have a new avatar thing! I agree with you! If they have, it's trivial things, and nothing to get excited over! Lots of talks, lots of plans, lots of fighting amongst themselves, and fighting the President over Iraq. Our gas prices which all of a sudden isn't the goverments fault anymore has rocketed!

Poiticians always seem to promise to get things done yesterday; there was a folk song in the 60's or 70's about politics (I don't remember who sang it) called "Sell them the wind, and promise them the moon"

When there is cold beer and ice cream parlors in Hell. the democrats depend on discontent and anger to get into and stay in power. And, they need a Republican party to rail against and blame for everything. Otherwise when their socialist agenda puts the whole country in the crapper there won't be a scapegoat and they will have no one to blame but themsleves. That will go bad for them in the next election.

After the world ends. Promise them anything, and get
elected appears to be the main goal. Awe come on,
she dresses extremely well, sits up straight, and has all her teeth. Her hair is never messed up, and she never loses
her luggage. Sometimes being perfect takes all of one's time.

150 days is not enough time to undo all of the mistakes the neocons made. You guys had both houses and the presidency. You did nothing and now you are in the minority. FACE IT. YOU BLEW IT!! Megga Dittos, Rush lackeys
