No overlap whatsoever. The age of dinosaurs was in the Mesozoic: Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous. Dinosaurs lived during the Mesozoic Era, from late in the Triassic period (about 225 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous (about 65 million years ago).
The Carboniferous was in the Paleozoic, much earlier.
354 to 290 million years ago.

Luka D is correct there is no correlation at all. Totally different geologic time periods

There was a mass extinction known as the Permian Extinction between the Carboniferous and the Triassic when the rise of dinosaurs began
