I always thought an early fall/late summer wedding at dusk would be amazing. The sun an hour or so before setting. Hundreds of tea light candles everywhere; hanging from trees, surrounding the arbor, staked along the walkway and by the guests. Dark deep red and soft pale gold as the colors mixed with subtle other autumn colors mixed in like on the chairs. Out near the woods with mountains as the backdrop. Great music all night and a dance floor surrounded by Chinese lanterns. A three tiered cake, each tier a different flavor maybe, simple finger foods to munch on and drinks. As for my gown a great modern Victorian/Regency era gown like this maybe if I was super rich!

Just my scattered ideas, I like the outdoors and I think late summer like the very end of August or even the beginning of September would be a lovely setting.

My husband and I eloped to Niagara falls and got married in a hot air balloon over looking the falls! i loved it. I wore an Aline dress with very little embellishment and had my hair half up with long drop earrings. It was wonderful! We both cryed! I think that is what makes a wedding perfect; the person you marry and the bond that is shared

a quiet wedding with close friend sand family
a bouncy castle for the children as well as face painting
a nice sit down dinner and a dodgy disco playing all the golden oldies that make you cringe to hear again knowing that this was your favourite song when you were so young
a day that everybody enjoys
my dress will be white, raeches the floor, simple yet elegent, the design constantly changes depending on how big my beer belly is LOL

A lovely ceremony, nice singing, our families with us to enjoy it, followed by a nice lunch. My perfect dress or gown would be the one in which I feel comfortable, svelte and gorgeous. I reckon I tried it on already but I'll probably go with something less elaborate.

Not spending alot of money was my first priority. But everything added up very quickly. We had the justice of the peace marry us at the facilty which catered our wedding. We took pics at my house with a professional photographer but reasonably priced. We also had everthing on video. For gifts we made a c.d with our favorite songs on it. It was a perfect day....p.s it goes by soooooo quick enjoy every minute

Coming out of church with two white horse and carriages waiting one for you the other full of Russian gypsy singers escorting you to a field full of spring flowers.......
For the dress have a look at paintings of Raffaelo Sanzio it should be inspired by the Italian Renessance

This is a male point of view of it...
Wife in white dressed with glittering effect, best men all in black with shades on and now for the rest...
Set in a church, pop music played throughout and 3 tier cake with a special meal for everyone after and then a small private disco. :)
