Try Promenade Hotel & Apt. I think for a while maybe you need this kinda apt. Its a hotel apt come with kitchenette and tv. The rental is about rm50 to 100.0 perday. So near to the evening market around 4 to 7pm, if you need anything everything is just walking distance.

Promenade Hotel & Apartment (located at Api Api Centre) is probably the best choice although it is not cheap and try also the Marina Court (located next to Promenade Hotel). You may just as well stay in a hotel for a while and do more research. There are many other choices. There are some advertisement at www.newsabahtimes.com.my at the sabah clasified column or you can try this link, there are contact numbers, email add and address. http://www.newsabahtimes.com.my/nstweb/open/700

Good Luck

You can try to use real estate agents fo find it out for you. Tell them your budget. I cost your nothing.

Not many properties in KK are listed at online property companies like Fiscal Wise Sdn Bhd and iProperty, however, you can try to get their help.

You can also find real estate agents from yellow pages.com.my. Just key in the words 'real estate agent' and there are many contacts for you.
