Someone gets hired at a job and is in the middle of training, the 6th day of training they get fired for no explanation but that they werent 'flowing'. This person doesnt get a chance to even show their skills, while there are about 3 people who smoked weed on the job. Does this sound like its not right to you?

You['ll never know the real reason they were fired.
HR gives you this vague answer because anything specific might get them sued.

But there is a lesson here.
"Buddies" do better than the hardest worker - and anyone can be fired at any time for any reason.

Stay focused on your career path and don't get involved with workplace dramas.

Whoever the person is should look at the bright side... Even though they may have needed the job in the long run they are probably better-off not being there because if there are people there that feel like they can get away with smoking drugs on the job at the job then its probably not the place or the people who you would want to work with...since yo ugot fired you can apply for un-employment. In the mean time sign up with some employment agencies. You get paid every week and they have a wealth of leads on open position In your area. Good Luck

Ya, I got fired once because I was a dog bather and One dog bit another. Supposedly i didn't keep the proper amount of distance between them. I hinestl thought they couldn't reach each other and I only had 1 dog, an experienced groomer had the other, so how was I (the newbie) the one responsible. Anyway it was like day 4 on the job and I was pissed. Sorry but life sucks sometimes..

That sucks. I've been at my job for over 10 years and I know I can be terminated at any time (for no reason too).

That's just the harsh reality we live in.
