I Googled it and there does not seem to be a conversion chart for leprechaun to people years, so this poses a tough question indeed.

No. A Leprechaun is like a dog. Ages 7 years for every 1 human year. I used to date a leprechaun who said she was 21. Turns out she was really like 150.

I think leprechauns are supposed to live for hundreds of years, so yeah, 22 would be very young.
