I had this friend who had more than 10 jobs in the
last 10 years,Been evicted from apartments,gets
utilities cut off for non payment, complains to me
he has no money and wants to move in with me.
It I let him moved in I would never be able to get rid of him.He is no longer my friend and I am better
off without him.The question is
Why can't he learn his lesson on reality of life?
I think he has a drug problem.

Some people have underlying problems that they need help with but won't go to counseling. It's sad.

You were right not to allow him to move in with you. You would become a full-time baby sitter.

You really shouldn't let people with drug habits live with you because that can get you in trouble. You got to let people make his own mistakes. He's never going to learn to be responsible if people are always helping. My brother was the same way, my mom always ran to his rescue until eventually she got tired of always helping him and my brother had to get a job, get his own place to stay and pay for bills himselve. Now my brother is reponsible and reliabe now.

Listen carefully. You will make the biggest mistake of your life if you let this guy move in with you. He is a loser and a user. If you help him, you will enable him to continue his bad behavior. Cut him off for his own good.

Because he somehow makes friends and USES THEM.... there are many people like this! Hes is what you would call toxic!

Lose his number. He more then likely wont learn and with you even saying you though about helping him ( thank God you knew better) gives him hope to keep it up!!

Let it go!

Drugs? Yep, I'd think so, too. Make sure you don't ever get to feeling sorry for him, and take him in out of pity. I bet he'd rob you blind.

He's going to have to hit rock bottom before he learns anything.

Some ppl like that had mommy and daddy take care of everything for them all of their life, and now don't know what to do to take care of themself. Parents, let your kids have learning experiences

HOW OLD IS HE? HE IS NOT HOLDING INTO A JOB FOR
TO LONG. OF COURSE NOT MONEY TO SPEND AND SAVE. CAN'T SUPPORT HIMSELF OR AN APARTMENT.

YOU ALSO HAD A SUSPICION OF DRUGS ABUSE, NO
MENTION THAT HE IS IN RECOVERY.

TO BE ABLE TO LEARN HIS LESSON , HE HAS TO CLEAN-UP HIS ACT AND GET A PERMANENT JOB.

ARE YOU READY TO STAND BY HIM?
