no, you cant eat or drink anything to grow taller (no matter what crazy crap ppl might say here). however, some of the nutrients in milk (vit.d, vit.a, calcium) are good to have in your system and if you dont get plenty of those elsewhere, milk is a decent source of those.

also, i see below that some ppl say it makes yer bones strong....not true, calcium (which is in things other than milk as well) helps maintain bone health, it does NOT guarantee bone strength, trust me, thats just silly MILK industry advertising.

Great question. Height is Mainly determined by Genetics though environment may play a factor as well. If you drink milk now it may help you grow but be sure it is fortified with Vitamin D because that is what helps the calcium be absorbed in your bone. I would try drinking an 8 oz. glass a day.
So...if you still don't surpass your parents height after drinking all that milk. Just make the best out of it! :) you're a girl anyhow!
Additionally you don't stop growing until you are 18 y.o.
Take care,
Rachel

Dear 15,
The addition of milk in your diet at this time in your life will in all probability improve your overall health, however the determining factors with regard to your eventual height is genetics, diet, medical and environment. If ones diet has been poor since birth the result can be stunted physical growth. If relatively good food has been consumed, your parents are of normal height, you have had regular check-ups with your doctor and environmental factors have been good, then you will reach the height of your parents or possibly more, as it seems that overall; each generation is becoming a little bit taller than the previous one.

Milk will not make you grow taller. You will gain any height you are goint to get between now and the time you are 18 or 19.

it's kinda too late for you to grow since your 15, but there is a 10% chance if you drink milk and do jump ropes you can get like a inch taller

milk is a great thing to drink but it isnt going to cause a growth spurt! it sounds as if shortness runs in our family so dont count on growing much more. i am 15 and barely 5'1, its no big deal!

but if you arent maturing at all (no period or something like that) talk to your doctor about getting tests done on your hormones

I think most women grow until they're about 18 and most men grow until the early 20's. So yes, I think you'll grow a bit more.

Milk will not make you grow taller. It does help build STRONG bones but will not make you grow.

You might, but it's doubtful. How tall you get is mostly to do with your genetics. If your mom is 5'2", you'll probably be right around there. (Maybe shorter, since you might have already stopped growing)

No, height is primarily genetic. Drinking milk will only make your bones stronger.
