yes!! i am 38 weeks too.. I keep getting them for the past 3 weeks! Sometime they will last for a minute every 10-12 minutes for 2 hours and then they will just go away!!! I get so darn excited that he is finally coming out and he doesnt.. Then i have days like today when i feel perfectly fine n that he is never going to come out!!
I have just been looking @ it as, our babies will come when they are good and ready, n they r jsut going to tease us and come out when we least expect it!

specific I even have had this various situations. From whilst i grow to be approximately 32 weeks pregnant to whilst i grow to be approximately 38 weeks pregnant. that's an ordinary spasm and person-friendly numbness...stretching of the tendon or groin. it fairly is a extraordinary feeling. It brought about my hips and legs to fairly much supply out. i can not fairly clarify it extra appropriate than that whether curiously such as you had a similar situation. i think of that's that aspects way if on the edge of stretch and additionally could be a pinched nerve or vein or joint from stress.

Your baby has dropped and is putting tons of pressure down there, this is normal and is usually no cause for alarm...By now u are prob semi dialated to about 1-2 which is also causing these discomforts...this happened with my last pregnancy and i was 2 cents dialated at 37 weeks but gave birth at 41 weeks. So unless they get really painful,u leak fluid,or u notice contractions that are at least 5 minutes apart then just take it easy and put your feet up....baby is just showing you he/she is ready to come =)
Good Luck!

It's just your uterus preparing for the final lap. Watch them every now and then and if they are 3-5 minutes apart you should call your doctor and head to the hospital. I called my doctor when mine were 30 minutes apart and she told me I still had a couple of hours. Within an hour my contractions were 3 minutes apart, so be careful. Listen to your doctor but trust yourself and your body too. You know it better than they do.

Tooootally normal & it's baby's way of telling you "Hey, get ready...I'm getting ready to come out and meet you!". Some women describe it as cramps & others describe it as pressure. I had it with both my kids... the second time around, it started at 35 weeks. Take it easy...rest up...and good luck.

you're getting ready ! if you feel anything in your lower back, it's going to happen soon. (hopefully someone is with you to help you.) Don't get stuck alone when your legs give out and the baby's coming.
