No.

Each person is accountable for their own actions.

It is the parent's responsibility to prepare a child for life's challenges.

Parents make choices about their behaviour. They behave in a particular way because it feels good to them. They get some sort of pay off for their actions.

If the parents are mentally ill, a guardian should be appointed for the parents. This guardian cannot be a child.

If you are a child over 14 and are being blamed for your parent's behaviour remember, they are the adults and you are a child. Adults make choices. Choices have consequences.

No let us oldies have some fun!

We spent years trying to damp down our real selves so that our offspring could grow into perfect citizens.

We are entitled to regress. Age has to have some benefits!!!

absolutely not. if kids behave badly then they should be accountable for their own actions. if their parents are misbehaving in whatever shape or form, then it is they who need to look at themselves and realise that it is not acceptable and that they ought to behave responsibly and maturely
