Go buy an external hard drive case, remove your hard drive and install it in the case. Now you can access it through your other computer via USB or Firewire

You need to plug the harddrive into a compatible working tower and get your files that way. Good luck!

If it's just a problem with Windows, you should download BartPE, and burn it to a CD/DVD. Make sure a cd/dvd burning plugin is installed. Boot off of that cd and then you'll be able to recover your files. If it's a problem with the computer, follow what everyone else said.

Get your hard drive out, put it in someone else's computer, and extract the files from there.

You can slways remove the drive and hook it to a working computer and copy the files to CD\DVD, USB drives, Memory cards, etc....
NOTE: Be SURE to change the jumper pins of the "old" drive to SLAVE
