First of all it's spelled masturbate.
Keep in mind that sexual desire is a strong urge for many. This is by design. Without sexual desire our species would not continue.
Most people masturbate because it feels good, however for males there are some health benefits to regular masturbation or sex. It keeps a man from getting blue balls.
