The Elephant. They travel in groups and seem to have great communication with each other. Also they show they express feelings by mourning when members of their own species die. A very intelligent animal.

Also recieving votes are lions (great at working together to hunt) and gorillas (able to solve problems in situations at times). The elephant though I feel is the most intelligent animal.
