My daughter worked for Tesco when she was in 6th form, she never had any problem with management and the way she was treated. I would say its more often the case that employtees think they can do what they like and when management object, the individual doesnt like it! Many seem to think they can behave just how they like, whereas in the workplace, especially a customer facing workplace, they are there, in uniform as visual representatives of the company, so rules need to be in place as to how they should behave, many individuals seem to think they can do what they like and have a chip on their shoulder. When you next go into a Tesco, ask some of the staff how long they have been there, thats a good indicator. Many people my daughter worked with had been with Tescos for years, if it were that bad, why would they stay?

Think this may be an isolated case, someone who doesn`t get on with manager. Tesco have a very good reputation with the general public, thats why they are the number 1 store, employees undergo very strict training on all aspects of dealing with the general public, think your neighbour may have just had a bad day, some people just can`t take the pressure.

I read your question and wonder if it is just that one particular supermarket, or the whole chain, I'm surprised as Tesco used to have a good reputation re the way it treated staff.

I would try Employee owned HyVee, I also like Price Chopper and Dillons. Safeway may even be a good thought.

This happened to me as quickly as. I walked away and in a protracted time i found out the cashier gave me too lots replace. I walked lower back and that i went immediately to the shopper provider, i defined at as quickly as and gave it lower back. you're no longer a thief with a unsleeping, it wasn't your fault and you're doing them a desire giving them lower back their money. she would be in a position to't be fired in case you do no longer say who it rather is, merely clarify which you have been there some hours and observed whilst at domicile that they gave you lower back too lots replace and you will possibly desire to make it suited. have faith me, they may be happy you lower back it. a minimum of you will no longer sense to blame anymore.

When I'm mistreated poorly by people in the business of working with the public, I'll heckle them. You know boo them and tell them they suck at their job, stuff like that.
