If you're a follower than there is nothing that you can do to be a leader. The only thing that i can suggest is to get a new group of friends and don't follow. Be assertive and be a leader. I always hated the fact that there were so many groups that had leaders and followers. I was neither. I never followed anyone and i was never a leader.

the sand thing is: if you need to ask that, then is too late. Leaders cant be made, they are born. They dont ask how to be leaders, they just are! There is nothing wrong with followers.

don't worry about what people think of you if you want to be a leader. don't agree with anyone unless you mean it. you dotn have to agree or follow someone to get famous or anythign liek that. the best advice of all just go with the flow be yourself and have some hobbies so then some people may even follow you maybe the same way you do to someone else. take my advice.

by looking around you and your community and find something that needs to be improved or a helpful activity that you could start doing. it could be something as simple as volunteering in a soup kitchen or doing what i did and volunteering at a summercamp for kids with handicapps for 5 summers and working there for one along with coming up with a program promoting diversity at my high school. every little bit helps. you have to have the will power to say no when others go down under pressure. that is what makes you stand out among the rest. hope this helps. good luck.

depends on what area of life you want to be a leader in. the best answer to that question; since it's not very specific, is to go buy "the art of war," by sun tze. it's very informative.

Follow your own gut and don't follow the crowd just because they are all doing something, only do it because you WANT to.

stand out do your own thang dont worry bout others if your following and they crash you crash but if your leading you can see the crash before it happens and avoid it right? so there goes a simple example to why you should do your own thing
