Who or what are 'librals', first of all?
What are these librals doing with the cut and run? Are they running with scissors, is that what you are trying to say? Because I can see that being stupid.

Other than to be derogatory, why don't you just say Democrats?
The Democrats are not the only ones who cut & run, there were both Republican & Democratic parties in office during Vietnam. All were badgered to cut & run. It is not the party that makes the decision to cut out, it is the pressure of the people put on the parties in office that make us pull out.

Liberals are not stupid, they try to keep a low profile after committing a crime against a citizen to make sure that they won't be prosecuted.
(Money laundering, oppressing a group of people, violating citizen rights, entrapping a citizen and blaming another politician, or government official for what they have done is a standard practice in which Liberals seem to engage.)
You have your positive good law abiding liberals, and your
