In my opinion, A-rod has already peaked and is in a slight decline. His performance has dwindled but will remain a very steady and reliable ballplayer over the nest few years. So yes his skill is declining but I would expect him to have many great years to come.

Have a better year? Since when did he have a bad one? I don't see how hitting 35+ Homeruns a season is considered bad.

Sure he may have had problems on the big D, but hey, that was only for one or two months.

A-Rod will kick azz like he always does. And this is coming from a Twins fan too!

Yo there be some hard haters answering this question i believe a-rod would have a awesome year because of what the coaches see in his practices and stuff. And for the record Jeter nor Arod is Gay so stop saying that they are

Even if he hit 60 homeruns and drove in 180 runs he still needs to get is ws ring.

btw I think he will have a better year although hitting 35 hr's with 121 rbi's and a .290 batting avg doesn't give that much room for improvements.

What a loaded question. Obviously most Yankee fans will say "yes" and most Red Sox fans will say "no".

Being a Sox fan, I'll stick with the stereotype and say no, he won't. He'll have a typical A-Fraud season, appear to put up big numbers, but diehards will know the truth about his aweful clutch hitting.

At least he'll be wearing pinstripes next year...playing for the Mets.

I dont think he will. If you look at his stats as a yankee there below his career avg in every category and that fielding too. I think he puts to much pressure on hisself and he will not put up numbers like he did till he goes to a smaller market team with less pressure. Not to mention he is use to being the big bat in the lineup and the yankees have a whole line up of big names and bats.
My pick for some one on the yankees to have a huge year is Robinson Cano.

No. A-rod is overrated. He made way to many errors. He wakes up every morning and says "I'm a million dollars richer!" Yankees don't need him.

Yes. I think he'll have a .310, 45 hr, 135 rbi, .420 OB, .610 SLG, .980 fielding season. He will definitively have a better season than last year and possibly win MVP!

Of course he will. He is still the best third baseman in the game and a top 5 in fantasy rankings.
