when i try and open most programs on xp pro the window opens but as soon as the mouse pointer enters the window screen it disapears i cant even open add/remove programs or restore ive tried every antivirus prog there is and reg cleaners

you need to reregister a few .dll files, copy the info below into a notebook, or word document then save as "svchost.bat". Make sure that you select all files as file type. You can do this on the desktop and when you double click the batch file will run and fix your programs.

you will have to format your machine as well as (fdisk) it as you have a bug in your machine you may need to take it to someone to look at it
