Glenn Turner, skipper of NZ in the 1975 WC.
Met his wife Ms. Sukhinder Kaur at a social function organised by the Indian Cricket Association for the New Zealand visiting team during the Bombay Test in 1970. She was studying at the University. They got married in July 1973 in London.
Interrestingly, Ms. Sukhi Turner, was the first woman to be elected mayor of Dunedin, New Zealand.
