A. well structurally cells are organic so they can't have inorganic compounds within them.
B. nutrients are organic
C. this is most likely the answer since inorganic compounds can have an effect in the body and act as buffers.

Inorganic means non-carbon.
Think Fe+, Mg+, Zn+, Ca2+, Cl-, K+, Na+.
BUT- those are ions not compounds.
So- buffers- HCO3, PO4, SO4- can be exchanged for ions and help maintain pH.
