school work could be affected when the child has "home issues" on his mind during class. homework could be affected by miscommunication & misunderstandings. friends can be compromised when the child spends weekends away from home. house rules can become confusing, whats accepted at dads, is not accepted at moms. extracurricular activities, like sports, boy scouts, etc., become difficult to participate in. parents should always remain civil, and speak to eachother with respect, if only in front of the children.
