I'm hawaiian and was born and raised here. This is a state of many peoples, Chinese, Hawaiians, Japanese, Koreans, Irish, English, Germans, Filipinos, Portuguese, African Americans, Spanish, Native Americans etc... I can go on and on. I have eleven nationalities including many of these I've listed. I'm not racist nor is my family. But it's such a big deal elsewhere. I was raised to love everyone no matter their race, if their rich or poor, etc... I accept them and respect them and treat them like family the moment I meet them and I was brought up to never judge others. But in other states and countries there is a fine line when race is involved and I don't understand the hostility towards it. I've had many who were racist against me but it never bothered me. There are many of my family members who've been through the whole of racism due to the dark color of their skin and it makes me sad. Why are people racist still? Why do people regard me as unusual because I love and accept everyone?

Well first of all some people will regard you as unusual because you love and accept everyone, but there are also many, many people who will admire and respect you for that. Luckily it sounds like those are the people in your life right now and you should continue to surround yourself with people who will appreciate that about you. We could use more people like you in this world. As for racism, I really don't understand why that is still an issue in this country. My best guess is that for some ignorant people it's easier to blame someone of another race for their problems and they think that the color of someone's skin is all that they need to know about the person. Hopefully one day all that will matter is who a person is, not what they look like.

most people are racist due to their ignorance and intolerance of anyone who is different from the way they are. I am white, I was raised in a small town that was all white. I rarely came into contact with any other race or religion growing up. my parents never spoke bad about any other race or religion. now that I am an adult I am proud to say I have friends and co workers from all over the country and of every race or religion. I decide who is my friend, or who I really don't care for. race plays no part in it. the only way to get over the racist idea is to hope that someday parents stop teaching children to hate because a person is different.

it makes me sad that people are racist too. Its just a SKIN COLOR. That color doesnt have anything to do with what kind of person he or she is. Its so awful that there is still racism in this country whenever there are soooo many different types of nationalities that exist. People just need to learn to embrace all the different nationalities, races and religions.

Why do people such as you ought to play the race card? in elementary terms some racist redneck idiots say something approximately Hispanics in many circumstances. maximum persons have a project with unlawful extraterrestrial beings. so some distance as bobbing up greater conflict, are you an fool your self? The conflict stems from people coming right here illegally and annoying that we no longer in elementary terms settle for their lawbreaking, yet we additionally supply them each and every of the rights, amenities, and advantages as a legal guy or woman is entitled to. sure racism and hate do create greater racism and hate. So this is going to be understood why individuals might hate somebody coming to their u . s . illegally and telling them to look out, we are taking on, cope with it, and different statements. it rather is anti-white racists such as you who reason the race conflict, the final public people merely hate all illegals no matter their colour or race. so some distance as widening the hollow and forcing the Hispanics to "push lower back"; get a clue. The illegals are doing the pushing suited into our u . s ., and a few racist Hispanics are choosing race over u . s .. Why is it that whites are racist, yet different everybody is merely unswerving to their ethnic history?

Bottom line is who really cares about the racist person. They are wrong and one day they will be under judgement from God. I feel sorry for them because they will never learn to forgive people and they will never be saved.

I believe the basis for the hatred between races is misunderstanding and ignorance. Many people fear what they don't understand. Which is also why some people may regard you as unusual in your openness to love. The world we be a much better place if there were more people like you that love so openly.

First off, I'd like to begin by saying that racism is mutual...it's not just one race sticking its nose up at another. There are (for example) whites who hate blacks and blacks who hate whites.
For a lot of things, black and white people do things differently. No better, no worse, just different. A white parent might buy their kid a lot of little gifts for his/her birthday that totals up to $100, and a black parent might buy their kid one big gift for $100. (This is just a random, made up example, and is not meant to be offensive to anyone)
The white mom says "well that's not how you do it." and the black mom says the same thing...therefore they both thing they're better than the other and they think they're above one another. Therefore, they start to dislike each other for their choices and apply their dislike for that race to everyone in that race.
Smart people like you and me, know there's no difference between race and we should treat people the same.
On the other hand, racism is a form of discrimination, and are we saying that it's bad to discriminate? Are we discriminating against discriminators? Just a question to ponder about =D

Racism is the great deception that the wealthy made to get poor whites from interacting with the slaves. That way they would never get together and organize to get rid of slavery. You still see it happing today. One group says another is keeping the other down. It is all a lie that the new world order wants everyone to follow.
