First of all there was no real plot. It's just the Spartans fighting the Persians and some brief side plots and that's it. There was no real character development. The main character played by Gerald Butler is one dimensional and is on the same note throughout the picture. The visual scenes were good when you watched the trailers and commercials, but you don't appreciate them when you see the movie because EVERY scene is like that. They should have made regular scenes and insert the surreal, visually enhanced scenes on occasions, so there's a better appreciation of them, and we won't just get used to them.

im going to have to agree with everyone else and DISAGREE......I SAW THE MOVIE AND IT WAS DEFINATLY BAD ***!
I hate having high expectations for a movie then it letting me down but i was MORE than pleased with the movie 300! i LOVED it, it was romantic, funny, thrilling, sexy..everything and more i DEFIANTLY RECOMEND IT

You're the only one. The German press also hated it. Everyone else though loved it. If no one else liked it, it wouldn't have near the success that it has.

I loved the movie. Def one of my favorite movies, if not my favorite.
