Ever sicne I came out, I am only attracted to striaght guys. It's not that I don't know any gay guys, because I know plenty. But I keep having these HUGE drawn out crushes on straight guys. Is it because that's all I've known, essentially? Truly, I did not grow up around ANY gay guys, as most people don't. Could this be a reason? But maybe I am just attracted to the "straight acting" type. I get really turned on my macho, masculine guys. And I know there are guys like that out there. It's just that ever gay boy wants them...

OK. So I totally understand... But how do I stop?...wrong question. How do I like gay guys? I suppose that I kind of don't now because...truthfully...I don't want to go out with a girly guy...a.k.a. ME! AHHH!!!!

It can be hard to find a boyfriend when your gay. Trust me, I know. I'm also closeted so that makes it ever harder to find a bf and the fear of that becoming known is another reason I would find it difficult to come out. When you get older (18) you can go to a gay club/bar. There you can meet a gay guy that you find cute and masculine. I met a gay guy today that was really masculine exept for the fact that he was really energetic. His bf was right there and he was masculine too. The only way I knew that was his bf was by the fact that they live together and they talked about their relationship briefly. I also fall for straight guys. I get huge crushes on straight guys and then become really good friends with them. When the crush wears off, so does the friendship, usually.

I have the same delimma. I always fall for straight girls. I don't know what's wrong with us, man. I think we missed the wagon. But maybe it is that whole growing up without any gay people around thing. Could be. If I had a solution for you I'd offer it. I just gave up and started hitting on them, and sometimes it works. And when it works, it's good! But I don't know if that would work for you. Good luck, and keep hitting the gay bar- jk!

Strangely enough, straight men are forbidden fruit. I think it's the idea of sexualizing someone that will never come over to the other side that is a turn on. But an incredible waste of time.

You are attracted to straight guys because deep down you know that they are unattainable. Therefore, you don't have to worry about being emotionally damaged in a break up with someone that you could have a real emotional relationship with.
