Someone please give me the facts please. My friend met a nanny from brazil who is in America for work. They had a one-night-stand and that was suppose to be it. For four months they have been together and now engaged. She has to return to Brazil for a month before she can receiving another work visa. They plan to marry before she goes. The problem is I strongly believe she is up to something. She does not try to get to know any of his friends or family. For example we went to another friends house one night and she refused to take her shoes off when asked because of the new hardwood floors so they left, I really would like to know what the facts are for becoming a US Citizen, I want to know before my friend ruins his life, thank you so much for any advice

She wants to marry him to live in America permanently.Once she has citizenship,she will dump him.You have to talk your friend out of this before he makes the biggest mistake of his life.

I think you friend should go to Brazil with his fiancee first to her what kind of background she's from. You friend can always get married when they comes back .
There's no point in rushing .

Hopefully for your friend thats not the reason...But it sounds like that to me...
