well, and who are you to tell private things to everyone??? why would you take that role , basically is her life and you have no rights on her ... in other words is none of your business as long as it doesn't take an direct effect in your life, the fact that you think is disgusting as (the majority of us think) doesn't give you the right of telling ... do not take anything for granted

How old is her friend-I'd hold off right now-if she told you this in confidence then you now have the opportunity to advise her that this is not just Morally Wrong but can also give her some serious infections.Have her consider the Bacteria in a dogs mouth considering the dog cleans himself with his mouth/sniffs and licks other dogs/dogs also aren't that particular in what they eat that they find outside-applies if her dog goes outside. You may also tell your friend that by doing this she is training her dog that that is where one gets a treat and think she'd be awfully embarassed if her dog would start(which he/she WILL) going there when others are around or think he/she'll get tat there from everyone else too.Cannot train the dog not to do this for the dog is now learning by instinct and will be very difficult to untrain. Even the oils,preservatives etc. in the peanut butter itself can cause a very serious infection .Any infection there will require treatment by a doctor. Please tell her or copy this and give to her.If being informed of the very serious consequences does not persuade her to stop this practice then I'd advise you to talk to your Mom-a grown-up you can trust for further advice on what to do-but it is very important that you do not tell your friends or her friends about this for they'll make terrible fun of her and it will be awful for her at school etc.Be her friend and be available for her to have you to talk to. You may also tell her that it is also not good for the dog's health and suppose he/she gets sick and they take blood at the vets-her DNA is in the dog's blood and tissues.There are reasons why this is not allowed not even by law. It is strictly against the law to do this-is considered a felony-pretty serious and your friend because not a adult can go to juvenile for this . She really needs to consider all of this-am glad that you posed this question for you too am sure have learned why this is NOT Done.Checked all of my facts before I typed the info in here esp about it being aagainst the law. I don't think you should tell anyone, because why would your mom want to hear about that? It would be totally embarrasing for your friend and you probably would never be able to speak to her again.... Rather, why dont you try and talk to her-- saying that it's not a good idea and she could get a lot of infections from doing that... tell her that it is not morally right to let an animal do that to you and could be considered as beastiality. I think you should talk to her SOOn before she carries it any farther... however it is not yet bad enough, no is it harming anyone so i do not think you should tell... If she starts having sex with the animal, then you should for the good of everyone... as for now it's just a gross phase you need to help her out of! =) good luck and im sorry she put you in this position

It's illegal, especially if she does more than just the peanut-butter licking thing. It's up to you - you have morals, you know what's right or wrong.

Its fine for her but cruel to the animal. Its your decision to make and your morals to use. If you really love animals, you will report this as animal abuse. I'm sure there's a way to do it without revealing who you are. If your friend is this disgusting, she probably has done other immoral things and has probably told someone else besides you.

Your friend is sick and needs help. Turning her in protects the animal and her. It is the right thing to do.
