in the US, the minimum wage is $5.15/hr- which was last changed Sept. 1997. There was talk in Congress about increasing the minimum wage, but not sure if it has passed or not. Other areas of the country may have a higher min. wage, just because cost of living in that area is higher.

That depends upon location. There is a national minimum wage and a state minimum wage. The state minimum wage cannot be less than the national minimum wage. Good luck! Try a manufacturing plant. They usually pay a few dollars above minimum to start. It also dirty and not fun. BUT, that what the money is for.

If you go to www.workchoices.gov.au it will give you pay and conditions with the federal award system which covers all industries that are a Pty Ltd business. Very informative. Otherwise talk to someone in the business to get an idea of what pays are. You could try mycareer.com.au they have a salary centre on its website, so maybe there. Hope this helps....

I'm pretty sure it's $7.15 per hour, but just because you have been out of work for a while doesn't mean you have to take minimum wage, but just do what you have to.

depends on what state or province you live in. US federal minimum is $5.15.

Ontario min wage is $8.00 CAN
