I used to love techno musik.
I know that trance is popular now, but I recomend Richie Hawtin, Daft Punk and Ricardo Villalobos to name a few.
You could go to myspace musik and visit a profile of an artist you like and then visit friend's profiles and get introduced to more musik you might like.
http://www.di.fm/edmguide/edmguide.html is good site to find out what style of techno you want to learn more about.
Ohh and you may want to look up Frankie Bones who is a popular dj who has been around for a long time who still loves techno to this day.

DJ Tietso, 4 Clubbers, 4 Strings, Van Armin, Public Domain, NamBamBulu, Binary Finary, Loop Guru, ATB, Orbital, that's all I can think of right now hope you can listen to one of these oh yeah and Alice..... Look up Digitally Imported to listen for free to streaming techno and other electronic stuff or House etc... whatever. Also Ministry of Sound for cheesy pop techno.

Here is something you could try. Go to just about any Internet radio listening site where you can choose to listen to a particular genre, in this case Techno. Find a station you like based on that genre and then listen to its playlist and see if there is anything (artist or song info) on it you like then make note of it and research it on the I-net. Or, you can try music listening research sites like http://www.pandora.com
