No, i do not imagine an IQ attempt should be required. i imagine a candidate should be judged on their accomplishments and journey, no longer by ability of get at the same time. If the voters had voted in accordance to those measures we would not of had George W. Bush as President. He failed in corporation many circumstances and he almost ran this united states into default that's consistent at the same time with his history. in spite of the undeniable fact that, this isn't because he's stupid, that's because he replaced into born with a silver spoon in his mouth and idea each thing he did may be paid for. So, i imagine searching right into a applicants previous achievements is a more beneficial useful way of having a experience of who the candidate is and what they can benefit.

Do you think IQ is what makes a good President?
Or their education? Or what school they attended? Religion, sex, race, age, or color of hair?
I think that all good people want someone that can make good choices, do what they think is right at the right time, and have a back bone for the nation when needed.
To select one for one reason is really a bad pick.
IQ does not give you all the right tools to do this job, some people with IQs forget to eat, change clothes, or even get out of the rain. Not to say these are bad people, yet how would they be able to run a country?
Widen your views, try to look at a bigger picture.

I think that we should be able to vote on weather we approve of how they are carrying the office, not just every 4 years, but in the middle of their term. Because if the polls show that a president is so far out of favor with the people, why should we stay stuck with someone who's not doing a good job for the people.

Yea don't you hate presidents who do above average on the SAT and go to Yale, and then fly fighter jets in the National Guard. Maybe you should take an I.Q test before you ask another question as stupid as this.

Dar me mate, IQ testing only tests for the intelligency of a person but wot presidents need is a bit of a common sense testing especially the so called president "Bush wida W".
Too late to propose for an I.Q. test anyways and if we could itd to go to congress and they wouldnt accept cuz they need a bit of testing to dar.

How about an IQ test and a "within constitutional standards'' test for both
governor's and presidential candidates? (Church leaders, also-God gave us free will.) Giving rights back to the individual citizen, which has become the new minority. If they added that I'd say "GOOD IDEA!!"

You are very uninformed if You think Bush is dumb. Politicians should be given lie detector test every six months by someone they are not able to influence. Failing the test should get them removed from office and they should not get a pension. Imagine how empty congress would be. The runner up in each election would replace the person removed from office and special elections could be held to get more people in office. Today's political stage is to stagnate because only big money people can get nominations to national office.

That would be a cool standard for them to take the IQ test but it wouldnt be very accurate. The formula for IQ is
IQ = mental age/chronological age x 100
The problem with this is that the chart for the IQ test only goes up to the age of 18 i believe. Sooo technically ever year after you graduate you're more...stupid. But we all know its not true.
haha...If only my psychology teacher could see this....this would be an A+ for me man!

I love all the people that are attempting to insult others and in the process can't even spell simple words correctly. For they guy far above me suggesting IQ testing for blacks, women and liberals, "they are" is spelled "they're" not "there" you idiot. Maybe you should take an IQ test.
