why do people like rock music? i never got it. i love rock, but i don't know why...?

Few really good reasons for rockin out.
1. 2 words: HEAD ROCKER
2. You can go crazy when you listen to rock.
3. Rock has a fast pace that gets the blood pumping, and who doesn't like a good adrenaline rush?
4. Rock can just blow other music away. ITS LOUD AND ITS PROUD OF IT!
5. There are different kinds of rock. Rock Metal, Soft Rock, just plain Rock.
6. Rock works with all action scenes in movies.

Hey, something for everyone. I was brought up on classical (I'm still a classical pianist), but I've found that I also like ragtime, jazz, rock...just about everything except rap. But that's my personal taste. Pretty much every genre brings something good to the table. Think of it as a buffet - it's all laid out in front of you, and you can choose what you eat. Don't complain if the guy at the next table is eating something you don't like - just be happy you don't have to eat it as well.

It all depends on the band, singers, songwriters. There's a lot of rock I love (Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, The Who, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Bad Company, Pearl Jam, to name but a few) and a lot of rock I can't stand (Queen, Kiss, Bruce Springsteen, Journey, Elton John--though he's more pop some people think he's rock, "death-metal" chain-saw screamers, etc.)

because its simply the best kind of music ever..once ur got a base of drums, a electric guitar and a good vocalist you just cant help but to headbang to the song :D lol

Because it brings out the rhythm from your soul and the beat makes you move your feet. If you can't dance then just fake it and tap your toe because it makes you feel so good.

i love it because it's loud with lots of drumming and guitars.It's the kind of music you don't wanna mess with.Unlike Rap or Hip Hop, where they are perverted in most songs..You can never take them seriously :P

i love rock. i like it because unlike rap its not trash/disrespectful and its not boring like country.
