i don't get it. if i cut myself ppl say that i need help or i'm mental, or stupid or dumb,or that i need attention. ppl dont try to understand y i feel the way i do or y i do what i do. they make fun of me or belittle me. y do ppl do this?

It's not fair to expect others to understand why some people cut themselves. It's outside the experience of most folks. It's like an anorexic trying to understand a glutton -- they just don't have the knowledge.

They do this, because like you said, they don't understand you. "Cutting" is bizarre and unimaginable to people like me who don't have the slightest idea why anyone would do such a thing. Perhaps you should enlighten these people and you can seek help together. Because whether they understand you or not, you do need help. I know that you need for your pain to stop and that you're the victim. Please explain to your loved ones what's going on inside of your heart and mind and get help. I understand what you mean. I used to cut myself for emotional release and not for any other reason. I wish I knew why ppl do these things but this world is filled with hate filled ppl

but just let us forget bout it... ok..
u won't feel that way, if u know that u're needed and many people love u such as this forum...
