If you already had all of your physical exams done, you will typically get weighed, have your stats taken and written down (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), they will take a urine specimen, they will measure your stomach, and perhaps try to listen for the heartbeat. You can discuss any problems you have. Most of your appointments will go like this, until around 20 weeks, when you will have an ultrasound, and in the last few months, when you have a sugar test, a defect screening (this is usually optional), and other various tests.

Most doctors will confirm the baby's heartbeat with an ultrasound somewhere between 6 & 8 weeks. You will be weighed and they will check your urine for protein. Basically, all the appointments are the same...boring! That is, with the exception of the ultrasounds! Starting at around 10 weeks, they start listening for the baby's heartbeat with the doppler. That's kind of fun also. Hope that helps!

all docs are a little different but they might do an internal exam - doctor checks how high your uterus is.
they'll take your vital signs - blood pressure, pulse etc.
they 'll weigh you. You'll have to give them a urine sample. I don't think they can hear the heartbeat until around the 12th week if I remember correctly, but they'll start listening for that.

They will prob give u an u/s to measure baby and determine your dates and to make sure there is only one baby in there. Other than that, they will check your weight, blood pressure, heartrate, urine and feel your tummy to get a good idea how the uterus is growing..It will be a very short visit..prob like 10 minutes..good luck!

The only thing I don't think anyone brought up was that there going to give you this funky looking soda soon, to see if you are a diabetic, (some women get diabtes when their pregant) and they'll tell you that soon, and you'll have more blood work done after that.

They might do an ultrasound to check the size of your little "peanut" (that's what mine looked like), and also I can't remember or not if they can hear the heartbeat.

More of the same. Lots of needles.
I never was scared of needles until my pregnancy.
They should let you listen to your baby on the steth, if they are friendly.
They may or may not want to do an ultrasound.
Each doctor has different views of that.
