Racism
even among people who have colored skin too
When ever people hear about Haiti" it is negative because of their poloticians and Haitians have formed gangs in NY in the past so people are scared too
Its ok I do not hate you
******************************************************************************
(unfourtunatly Beez did a racist thing by stereotyping whites )Everyone steriotypes it is a natural thing it helps us identify threats and securities- if I am white would I be safe in Harlem ? in the daytime probably yes at night maybe some drunks or kids would give me problems- because I am white but thats ok I can understand.

because most of the haitians people come into contact with are rude and insulting and are thieves. Its not right...Its' not right to stereo type...I always give the bennefit of the doubt first...I don't dislike before I get to know someone. But if all you ever do is come into contact with the same nationality along with the same mannerisms....I can see why people would start to dislike the race itself. I tend to look at it this way....I wouldn't be disliking the "race" I dislike the "personality" and there are ALOT of horrible "personalities" out there that belong to not only haitians...but Puerto Ricans, Spanish, Black, chinnese, Mexican, AND Whites. I am prejudice against ALL negative, rude, crude, nasty people whatever the race may be.... I had a haitian housekeeper at the hotel room i stayed in the night I got married. I left a pair of earrings given to me by my grandmother who just passed away recently and it was the last gift she gave me...I came back to get them the SAME day..and they were gone. Nobody owned up to who stole my earrings....was it because she was Hatian?...No...it was because she was a thief and a crook and a hoorible human being who will get what is ccoming to them.... I could hate Hatians though couldn't I? But why? We are all the same underneath.....blood guts in all its glory!

I think some people hate just because someone is different than they are.I suppose it is just because the Haitians are there and they have been chosen as different .Our world would be so much nicer without all the hate. Choose not to be a part of the problem!

I'm Dominican, but I don't hate Haitians. I think a lot of people are just close-minded.

They have issues period. Not the Haitians. The people in your school have issues. Just wanted to clarify. :)

There has always been racism in the U.S., particularly against blacks. A lot of white people think they are superior to people of color. It's a knee jerk reaction, not a thought out, reasonable response.

i think of it is because of the fact of voodoo and maximum of them communicate patois(french) and english so i do no longer think of each and every person is hating on them because of the fact of language. Voodoo and 0.33 international united states of america is why people do unlike them.

Same reasons people hate spanish people or african people or white people or chinese people or korean people or wat ever... those types of people are cold hearted and probably hate themselves. So in turn they need to put someone else down in order to feel better about themselves.
